This 4-day collection of classes is designed to meet the needs of people who do not have a background in graphic arts but find themselves needing to put together marketing materials, newsletters, brochures, signs, poster, invitations, etc. without the help or guidance of a trained designer. The classes cover basic design concepts as well as fundamental instruction in how to use Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator to edit photos, create logos and line-art, and create basic print materials ready for publication.
Brand new to Photoshop and digital imaging? Photoshop ND is an entry-level intro to Photoshop that will get you familiar with the program and making basic changes, color corrections and photo comps quickly. (see pricing info and class syllabus)
This class is a down and dirty intro to vector art that will get you up and running with the program and creating or editing basic art and designs quickly. Create your own logos, clip art and illustrations with confidence. (see pricing info and class syllabus)
This is a beginner's course in Adobe InDesign aimed at learners who have little or no previous experience with page layout software. We start at ground zero and build the basic skills necessary to creating layouts for print publication. (see pricing info and class syllabus)
Knowing the software is only half the battle. What's the best layout for my page? How big should the headline be? How many colors should be used? What about fonts? Am I doing this right? This class will help you confidently make decisions about the look and feel of your page designs through an introduction to basic design principles. (see pricing info and class syllabus)
